SpeedCamsAU is an independent directory that organises public speed-camera records into maps and state-by-state guides. It is not a government service, enforcement authority or live camera feed.

The directory combines selected government open-data records with OpenStreetMap. A mapped point can represent a fixed camera site or a location where a mobile camera may be deployed; it does not mean a camera is operating there now.

What we prioritise

• Clear source and update information.
• No claim that the map is complete or real-time.
• Practical explanations without encouraging unsafe driving.
• Links to the relevant authority where information can change.
